BEVERLY HILLS, November 02, (THEWILL) –Â President Muhammadu Buhari has written to the National Assembly, informing them of his readiness to present the 2018 appropriation budget on November 7.
THEWILL recalls that the President had promised to ensure that budgets under his administration run from January to December calendar yearly.
To this end, there was a special Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting last week to finish up on the budget.
Following the meeting, the President held meetings with the leadership of the National Assembly in a bid to ensure smooth passage of the bill.
It was reported that the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, had assured the President of the support of the Senate when the bill is presented.
