BEVERLY HILLS, December 02, (THEWILL) – The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, has been flown to the United Kingdom for medical attention after he began to have breathing difficulties.
Kyari, who had been battling with diabetes and was recently in the UK to receive treatment, was rushed to London on a British Airway flight on Wednesday morning as his health deteriorated.
THEWILL gathered that Kyari was almost unconscious when they took him to the UK, but he is responding to treatment.
Reports indicate that Kyari’s condition worsened following the kidnap of a former minister, Bagudu Hirse, in front of the residence of Mamman Daura as he was in Daura’s residence when the incident occurred.
He was shocked after all the security details ran away leaving them to their fate and badly shaken from the Kaduna experience and has not been the same since he returned.
The presidency has however not released any statement on Kyari’s trip or alleged illness.
