December 01, (THEWILL) – The Central Bank of Nigeria is set to launch a newly redesigned website on Monday, December 2, 2024, aimed at improving user experience and access to information.

In a statement signed by Mrs. Hakama Ali, the Acting Director of Corporate Communications, the apex bank disclosed that the revamped website, accessible at www.cbn.gov.ng, has been built with advanced technology to enhance navigation and accessibility.

“The Bank has developed a contemporary Web API that operates on Microsoft .NET Core 8, the latest and most stable release, to enhance the user experience by speeding up and simplifying the navigation process,” the statement read.

Mrs. Ali revealed that the new platform was designed entirely in-house, with an upgraded front-end interface and robust back-end technology.

The redesigned website boasts several new features, including a comprehensive range of content detailing the Bank’s mandate.

It is also optimised for mobile devices, ensuring seamless navigation across various web browsers and gadgets.

“The redesigned website introduces a variety of new content, which encompasses a broader spectrum of information regarding the Bank’s mandate,” the statement added.

Ali noted that public feedback played a significant role in shaping the redesign process.

“The Bank is grateful for the feedback provided by the public, which served as a valuable guide for our redesign endeavours,” she said.

She further assured Nigerians of the CBN’s commitment to continuous improvement of the website to ensure effective communication and information dissemination.
