SAN FRANCISCO, November 26, (THEWILL) – A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos Wednesday ordered the Directorate of State Services (DSS) to immediately reopen the All Progressives Congress (APC) Data Centre , Ikeja, Lagos it shut last weekend.

Presiding judge, Justice Mohammed Nasir Yenusa, gave the order even as he restrained the DSS from further raiding the Data Centre or tampering with any property in the building.

The order was sequel to the case of enforcement of fundamental human rights filed by Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, counsel to APC, on behalf of the party.

The Court also ordered the respondents to produce the five data entry staff still being held by the DSS in court on Friday, November 28, to explain to the court why they are still being held in custody. However, the court was silent on the request for the release of the seized equipment from the Data Centre .
