COVID-19: FG Asks NYSC Camps To Prepare For Reopening

BEVERLY HILLS, September 03, (THEWILL) – The Federal Government says the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) can start making preparations to reopen its orientation camps nationwide, whilst also announcing that the COVID-19 motivated nationwide curfew has now been adjusted to between 12am to 4am daily as part of revised protocol.

The National Coordinator of the Presidential Task force on COVID-19, Dr Sani Aliyu, announced this during a briefing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Dr Aliyu, however, explained that people on essential service and travellers returning from abroad are exempted from the curfew.

He also explained that President Muhammadu Buhari has extended the Task Force’s mandate till December 2020.
