Dangote Refinery - Petrol price

March 14, (THEWILL) – The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has further lowered its ex-depot (gantry) price of petrol to N815 per litre.

This is coming two weeks after the Refinery, on February 26, crashed petrol price from N890 to N825.

The spokesperson of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Chinedu Ukadike, confirmed the development on Friday.

He said the decision came after fuel landing cost dropped to N774.82 per litre, below Dangote Refinery’s N825 ex-depot prices.

In the past months, both Dangote Refinery and Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited have engaged in a price war.

NNPC, on March 3, reduced its pump price of petrol from N945 to N860 per litre.
