
August 13, (THEWILL) — Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol, from N850 to N820 per litre.
Effective August 12, 2025, the company described the move as part of its “unwavering commitment to national development” and assured Nigerians of a consistent and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products.
“In line with our dedication to operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions, Dangote Petroleum Refinery will commence the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution across Nigeria, effective August 15, 2025,” the Refinery’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, said.
The refinery also disclosed plans to commence the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks from August 15, 2025. The trucks will be dedicated to fuel distribution across the country, underscoring Dangote’s pledge to operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions.
