… Says Sect Can Also Attack U.S.
SAN FRANCISCO, December 12, 2013, (THEWILL) – Fugitive leader of Boko Haram, who is one of the most wanted terrorists in the world, Abubakar Shekau, declared on Thursday that Boko Haram was behind the December 2 deadly attack on Maiduguri.
He stated this in a video clip released to selected journalists boasting that the sect can also attack any country in the world, including the United States of America (USA).
Shekau, who was dressed in military camouflage with a Kalashnikov leaning on his chest , said in the 19-minutes video that the sect lost three of its members to the operation, including two suicide bombers.
According to Shekau, “This message is intended as a glad tiding. Allah the Almighty has given us victory in the attack we launched inside Maiduguri (which was) called Borno in ancient times. We stormed the city and fought them (and) Allah blessed us with lots of booty.
“They call us Boko Haram but we are not Boko Haram. We are Jama’atu Ahlissunnah Lidda’awati Wal Jihad whose leader is Abubakar Ash-shakawy, who in the past committed a lot of infractions but when he followed the koran and the prophet’s teachings today even Obama fears him, Francois Holland fears him, Benjamin Natanyahu fears him, Margaret Thatcher fears him, the whole world fears him. Why? Because he holds on to Allah the Almighty.
“After that you say so many things (referring to the US). By Allah, you are lying. Were you truthful, oh America, you would have been truthful inside your country, you bloody liar. May Allah’s curse be on you.
“Useless, stupid America, prostitute. Idiot. If you could do anything you would have done it in your country. Vagabond. You are boasting you are going to join force with Nigeria to crush us, bloody liars. You couldn’t crush us when we were carrying sticks, is it today when we storm your barracks and commandeered your things one after the other, killed you in numbers that you are going to crush us?
“Three of our men carried out the suicide bombings, three of our men died from bullets, one of them died from friendly fire and not from your bullet. May Allah accept them as martyrs and may we attain such honour.
“Bloody liars! If you had the capability you would have done it in your country. Where were you when your World Trade Centre was bombed, including your Pentagon when you were faced on your turf? Bloody infidel, you are a liar.
“Liars! May Allah protect us. This is a message from this small destitute who has become a nightmare to infidels.”
The terrorists’ leader also threatened to deal with the youth vigilante group popularly called Civilian JTF, saying “Oh you stick-carrying vigilante, we will slaughter you, bastard. I address you as a woman because what you are doing is feminine (weakness). If you think you are tough come and meet me where I am.’’
He warned that Boko Haram will not stop the attack on Maiduguri, saying it will extend it to other parts of the country and beyond the shores of Nigeria.
“By Allah, we will never stop. Don’t think we will stop in Maiduguri, tomorrow you will see us in America itself. Our operation is not confined to Nigeria, it is for the whole world.
“I hope this message will be a reminder to whosoever listens to repent and turn to Allah not because of me.”
