EAGLET’S VICTORY: WHERE ARE THE CHILDREN OF POLITICIANS AND THE RICH? ONLY POOR CITIZENS AND THEIR KIDS BELIEVE IN PROJECT NIGERIA

Must Read

** Where are the children of the Obasanjo’s, IBB’s, Ojukwu’s, Abiola’s, TY Danjuma’s, David Mark’s, Anenih’s etc? How come it is mostly the children of poor citIzen’s that uplift Nigeria’s image? **

The victory of these young Nigeria Under-17 Team shows that only poor citizens and their children believe in the ONE NIGERIA project while the rich are in haste to steal and dump the country.

I searched throughout their names but didn’t recognize the son or name of any Big Man in or out of government or private entreprise. The elites mostly don’t believe in Project Nigeria as their children are always smearing the name of the country in one way or the other. It is either a big man’s child is arrested for money laundering, drugs or caught trying to blow up a plane. But see how these kids from poor parents are elevating the name of Nigeria on the international stage.

In this country the poor are always gathering and labouring while  the rich are often primitively accumulating the poor people’s commonwealth and possessing dual citizenship of US or UK incase Nigeria blows into pieces so that they can runaway.

When it comes to REAL success in Nigeria, how many children of prominent Nigerians do we read about?

Where are the children of the Obasanjo’s, IBB’s, Ojukwu’s, Abiola’s, TY Danjuma’s, David Mark’s, Anenih’s etc in nation-building?

How many children of the rich study in Nigeria or even believe in Nigeria? Instead, they prefer to be second-class citizens in the US, UK etc rather than serve Nigeria.

Their fathers only pay lip-service to the country but when its time for action you will never see their families on ground except it is “time to chop ” as they believe that the country is a company called “Turn-by-Turn Nigeria Plc.”

That is why their fathers have refused to amend the Constitution to remove the section that provides for dual citizenship. The painful reality is that some of these so-called big men of  today were once from poor homes. Imagine that!

One comical thing I have observed among our wealthy citizens is that they only like to be buried in Nigeria hence when they are sick they run abroad for treatment but on their will or before they die, they often state it categorically that they MUST be buried in Nigeria.

I am glad to be the son of a poor citizen and I am glad to be a believer in the Nigerian project like the Golden Eaglets for we the children of the poor are the ones that have built the foundation of the country and kept it intact. Left to the children of the wealthy citizens, the country can go bunkers and blow into pieces since they possess dual citizenship!
