BEVERLY HILLS, April 18, (THEWILL) – The Federal Government on Wednesday declared Friday April 19 and Monday April 22, 2019, as a public holiday.
This was confirmed in a tweet by the personal assistant to the President on new media, Bashir Ahmad.
According to Ahmad, the holiday was declared to mark the 2019 Easter celebrations as Friday would be good Friday while Monday is Easter Monday.
Ahmad’s tweet reads, “JUST IN: The Federal Government has declared Friday, April 19 and Monday, April 22 as Public Holidays to mark the 2019 Easter celebration. #HappyHolidays”
