BEVERLY HILLS, CA, July 21, (THEWILL) -The Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Eastern Nigeria, Monday impeached Speaker Chukwuma Nwazunku following a motion moved by Hon Chris Usulor, representing Ezza South constituency and seconded by the Minority Leader, Hon. Enyi C. Enyi (Ezza North West).
The impeachment which had the approval of 18 out of 24 assembly members was done amidst tight security this morning.
The assembly elected Hon. Helen Nwobashi as the new Speaker following a motion by Hon. Eni Uduma Chima (Afikpo South West) and seconded by Hon. Frank Onwe (Ohaukwu North).
