June 03, (THEWILL) – Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has approved a special Eid-el-Kabir bonus for all civil servants and pensioners in the state, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens.

The announcement was contained in a statement on Tuesday by the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mahmoud Muhammad Dantawasa.

He said the gesture was aimed at easing the financial burden on families during the festive season and enabling beneficiaries to celebrate with joy and dignity.

Governor Lawal, who is currently in Makkah for the Hajj pilgrimage, extended his warm greetings to the people of Zamfara, urging them to celebrate responsibly and continue to pray for the peace and progress of the state.

“I am deeply grateful to Almighty Allah for granting us the opportunity to witness yet another Eid. As we celebrate, I urge us all to reflect on the essence of the season—unity, sacrifice, and compassion.

“Let us pray for our beloved Zamfara State and our nation, Nigeria. Together, we can build a better future for ourselves and generations to come,” the governor said.
