
April 30, (THEWILL) – Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, So-Safe Corps, has deployed personnel to maintain the break down of law and order during and after the Eid-il-fitr celebration in the state.
The Corps’ Commander, Soji Ganzallo, in release in Abeokuta, directed the corps to tighten security in various communities across the state, so as to ensure the safety of their lives and properties during the festive period.
Ganzallo, however, charged the officers to be civil and proactive in discharging their security duties and not give room to crime and criminality in the state during the celebration.
He said that the agency shall also corroborate the effort of the Nigeria Police and other relevant to combat any form of crimes and criminality, while congratulating the Muslim faithfuls for the celebration.
The commander urged the general public to always call and register the movement of their visitors, in case they entertain any fear on their choice of town to celebrate the Eid-il-fitr within the state.
