June 06, (THEWILL) -The lawmaker representing Ikole Constituency II, Stephen Adeoye Aribasoye, has been elected as the new Speaker of the Seventh Ekiti State House of Assembly.

This followed the inauguration of the Assembly on Tuesday, by the state governor, Biodun Oyebanji.

The 26-member Assembly also elected Bolaji Olagbaju Egbeyemi, as Deputy Speaker.
