El-Rufai Re-Elected For A Second Term In Kaduna

SAN FRANCISCO, March 11, (THEWILL) – Nasir El-Rufai, the Kaduna state governor, has been re-elected for a second term.

Running under the APC, he polled 1,045,447 votes to defeat Isa Ashiru of the PDP who scored 814,168 votes. The result shows that he won in 14 LGAs while Ashiru won nine councils.

Accredited voters: 1,936,800

Valid votes cast: 1,889,714

Rejected votes: 31,515

Total votes cast: 1,921,229
