BEVERLY HILLS, April 09, (THEWILL) – Martins Elechi, the immediate past Governor of Ebonyi State, South Eastern Nigeria, has dumped his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Party (APC).
Elechi announced his defection Sunday in his hometown in Ikwo LGA, where he registered for the APC.
Elechi, who served two terms (2007 -2015) on the platform of the PDP, cited the crisis rocking the PDP and his love for President Muhammadu Buhari, as his reasons for joining the APC.
