SAN FRANCISCO, July 02, (THEWILL) – The governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, has directed the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.
Fayose, who Chairs the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governor’s Forum, ordered the sacked Commissioners to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries of their respective ministries.
Fayose, in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, thanked the former commissioners for their service to the state.
He also wished them well in their future endeavors.
The development is coming few days after his Rivers State counterpart, Nyesom Wike dismissed all members of the State Executive Council.
