Grace Adayilo

September 01, (THEWILL) — The Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, Mrs. Grace Adayilo, has died.

Her death, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, September 1, 2025, was confirmed by her Special Assistant on Media, Anthony Odey, and the Senior Special Assistant to the FCT Minister on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.

Adayilo was appointed Head of Service of the FCTA in October 2024. Before her elevation, she served as Permanent Secretary of the Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat.

Widely regarded as a reform-driven technocrat, she was celebrated for her dedication to service and commitment to improving the welfare of civil servants.
