BEVERLY HILLS, CA, November 28, (THEWILL) – The Federal Government Thursday ordered the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to call off their on-going strike and re-open all government owned universities.

The one week ultimatum was given by acting Minister of Education while speaking with journalists in Abuja.

“Any academic staff who fails to resume on or before the 4th of December 2013 should consider themselves as no longer in the employment of the institution,” he said.

The strike which has been on since July 1st, 2013 has paralyzed all academic activities in universities across the nation.
