October 30, (THEWILL) — The Federal Government has announced the release of shortlisted candidates for recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) disclosed this in a statement signed by its Secretary, Maj. Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (Rtd.).

According to the statement, applicants can check their status and view the centres for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) by visiting the official recruitment portal, https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, from Thursday, October 30, 2025.

The Board advised shortlisted candidates to take note of their examination date, venue, and time as displayed on the portal.

Jibril also cautioned applicants to beware of fraudsters, stressing that only information obtained from the CDCFIB’s official website should be regarded as authentic.

He reiterated that the ongoing recruitment exercise covers four major paramilitary agencies under the Board’s supervision — the NIS, NSCDC, NCS, and FFS.
