BEVERLY HILLS, September 03, (THEWILL) – The Federal Government has summoned the South African representative over the recent xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, on Tuesday, summoned the South African envoy after the latest xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.

A senior ministry official, Kimiebi Ebenfa, confirmed the meeting to Channels Television saying it is expected to hold at the headquarters of the ministry of foreign affairs on Tuesday.

Onyema had earlier on Monday vowed the Federal Government would take decisive measures following the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and their businesses in South Africa.
