February 01, (THEWILL) – Nottingham Forest have made a big signing in the transfer window by acquiring Keylor Navas on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
Navas is a seasoned veteran in the world of football, having won three UEFA Champions League titles during his time with Real Madrid and two Ligue 1 titles with PSG.
Navas was once the first-choice goalkeeper for PSG, but this season has seen him being replaced by Gianluigi Donnarumma. As a result, Navas has had to seek playing time elsewhere and Forest have given him that opportunity.
The club released a statement on the loan signing of Navas, expressing their delight in acquiring the 36-year-old goalkeeper: “Nottingham Forest is delighted to announce the signing of Keylor Navas from Paris Saint-Germain. The goalkeeper has signed on loan for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign.”
Navas brings with him a wealth of international and domestic experience, having made 564 appearances in a career filled with numerous achievements.
