Former Adamawa Governor, Michika Saleh, Is Dead

BEVERLY HILLS, March 11, (THEWILL) – The first civilian Governor of Adamawa State, Abubakar Saleh Michika, has died.

Michika died on Saturday night having been in coma for several days at the Federal Medical Centre, Yola.

He was a member of the then ruling National Republican Convention (NRC), and was the first civilian Governor of Adamawa State from 2 January 1992 to 17 November 1993.

According to wikipedia, Michika has 38 children, 17 boys and 21 girls.

He is said to have 99 grand children, and 3 great grand children, all from his four wives; Hajiya Daudu, Mairama, Aisha and Nana Saleh Michika.
