Former Finance Minister, Adeosun Returns To London After Resignation

BEVERLY HILLS, September 15, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, has returned to the United Kingdom, just hours after resigning from her position over her forged NYSC Certificate.

An aide of the former official confirmed her departure to THEWILL on Saturday.

The main opposition party, PDP and several groups have called for her prosecution arguing that ignorance of the law is no excuse.

Adeosun had in her letter of resignation to President Buhari blamed her “trusted associates” for obtaining the forged document from the NYSC.
