March 17, (THEWILL) – The 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has returned to the All Progressives Congress.
Adeniran defected to the PDP in January 2022 to contest the party’s gubernatorial ticket for the 2023 elections.
He had on March 3, 2025, resigned his PDP membership along with his Lagos4Lagos Movement.
Adediran cited the conspiracy among PDP party leaders to ensure his defeat in the 2023 election.
He alleged that some of them openly campaigned against him and Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the party.
“Our return to APC was not for personal purpose but a reflection of our commitment to the development of Lagos,” he said on Monday.
