SAN FRANCISCO, November 20, (THEWILL) – Dignitaries gathered at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja to honour former President Goodluck Jonathan, who’s book, “My Transition Hours,” was publicly presented as he marks his 61st birthday.
Dignitaries who attended the event includes former Vice President Namadi Sambo, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, former Heads of State, Abdusalami Abubakar and Yakubu Gowon.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, is also attending while former Presidents of Benin Republic and Sierra Leone are also attending. Serving and former governors are also in attendance.
Former President Jonathan arrived the venue of his book presentation at exactly 11.45am in company with his wife, Patience.
His arrival was greeted with a loud ovation from those gathered at the entrance of the venue.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari, scheduled to be the Special Guest of Honour at the event is absent.
Buhari is, however, being represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha.
