SAN FRANCISCO, October 24, (THEWILL) – A vehicle that was conveying former President Olusegun Obasanjo to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) from Abeokuta had a trye blowout on Saturday evening.
Mr. Obasanjo who was travelling with associates including Chief Oyewole Fasawe in a convoy of vehicles, was headed to Abidjan, Ivory Coast, to monitor elections in that country.
Sources to the former President who confirmed the incident to THEWILL, said no one was hurt.
As at the time of writing, Mr. Obasanjo had arrived Abidjan.
