SAN FRANCISCO, November 22, (THEWILL) – Unknown gunmen have abducted the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State.
A statement by the Police Commissioner in the state, Emmanuel Bola Longe said the chairman, Philip Tatari Shekwo was abducted on Saturday around 11pm in his house “near Dunamis Church, Bukan Sidi, in Lafia around 11pm
Longe, who said the gunmen took him away to an unknown destination, added that “security agencies had reacted swiftly by deploying personnel to different forest locations in the state to ensure safe release of the chairman by his abductors.”
