June 14, (THEWILL) – A United States court has slammed Jason Allen Alexander, the ex-husband of Britney Spears, with a felony count of stalking on Monday, after he attempted to gatecrash the singer’s wedding in Southern California, which he live streamed on Instagram.
Spears and Asghari were getting married on Thursday, when Alexander gatecrashed into the venue to interrupt the proceedings.
Alexander, according to court filings in Vendura County Court, was charged with a felony count of stalking, as well as misdemeanour counts of trespassing, vandalism and battery.
When he appeared in court via Zoom from jail, he pleaded not guilty to the charges and the judge issued a restraining order, requiring him to stay 100 yards away from the singer.
His bail was also set at $100,000, and a hearing is scheduled for next Wednesday.
