BEVERLY HILLS, September 29, (THEWILL) – Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his wife Zeenat have arrived at the Kaduna state High Court in the state capital.
The day’s session is expected to deliver ruling in a case of unlawful assembly among other charges brought against Shii’te sect by the Kaduna State government.
El-Zakzaky and his wife have been in detention since 2015, when the Shi’ite Islamic sect and the army clashed in Zaria.
And as expected, there is a heavy presence of armed security men in streets around the court, to forestall possible breakdown of law and order.
