SAN FRANCISCO, September 27, (THEWILL) – A legal practitioner, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, who is counsel to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has filed a suit at the Federal High Court in Abuja seeking an order for the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, to disclose the whereabouts of his client.

In a draft copy of the motion reported to have been instituted on Wednesday, Ejiofor held that the Chief of Army Staff was in the best position to produce Kanu in court.

The suit stated that this was because, Kanu was last seen on September 14, after troops invaded his house in Afara-ukwu Ibeku, Umuahia Abia State, “on a murderous raid, where life and mortar bullets were fired on unarmed and defenseless populace, leaving 28 persons dead and abducting many”.
