SAN FRANCISCO, November 24, (THEWILL) – Lagos-based radical lawyer, Festus Keyamo, has asked a Federal High Court in Abuja to grant an order of mandamus, compelling the Inspector General of Police, Sulieman Abba, as well as Director of State Security Service to investigate and arrest Ijaw ex-militant warlord, Chief Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo), over alleged threat to his life and seven others.

Keyamo had approached the court after the expiration of the 72-hour ultimatum he earlier gave the IGP and SSS to investigate and subsequently arrest Tompolo.

The lawyer had warned that he would approach the court on expiration of the ultimatum if the IGP and SSS fail to arrest the notorious warlord.
