BEVERLY HILLS, November 13, (THEWILL) – Former Remo, Ogun State Federal Constituency representative and gubernatorial aspirant, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, 58, first son of gaming mogul; Sir Kessington Adebutu, according to sources, is currently getting set to become the new ‘Babalaje of Egbaland’, a title to be bestowed on him by the paramount ruler of Egbaland, the Alake of Egba, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III.

Lado as he is fondly called, currently holds various chieftaincy titles like; Baba Oba of Odo-Jobore, Sobaloju of Ilisan, Otunba Fiwajoye of Owode land, Okanlomo of Iperu-Remo, Ariwajoye of Ode-Remo & Otunba Nawo Ola of Odogbolu.

At the last gubernatorial elections in Ogun state, Ladi battled late Senator Buruji Kashamu for the gubernatorial ticket and structure of the party in the state. After several legal battles, a court order upheld Kashamu as the legitimate gubernatorial flagbearer for the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Ogun State. The election was eventually won by Prince Dapo Abiodun, the incumbent.
