The panellists at the event were Dele Oshinowo, the chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA; Femi Saheed, member house of assembly; and Kafilat Ogbara, commissioner at Lagos state audit commission/candidate Kosofe federal constituency.

The meeting was the culmination of a week-long community engagement that began on August 22, with the “Lagos City Activation” which saw representatives from the radio station in strategic locations in Lagos from the island to the mainland.

Town Hall

The “Lagos Town Hall meetings”, a quarterly out-of-station event, believe that rather than engage in mere complaints, as citizens, it is important to constructively engage political, religious, and community leaders.

Among other things, Lagos Talks is aimed at getting governments at the local level to be more accountable to their communities, creating an avenue for representatives and the people to engage themselves, as well as encouraging the fact that governance starts from the grassroots.
