August 06, (THEWILL) — A resurfaced interview from veteran music video director, Clarence Peters, has sparked renewed conversations about P-Square’s financial success during their peak years.
In the 2025 interview, Peters recalled the height of Peter and Paul Okoye’s career, revealing that the duo charged a performance fee of $200,000 per show between 2013 and 2014.
He added that the fee was so high that some promoters, including those in the United States, could not afford to bring the duo for performances at the time.
The revelation has sparked fresh discussions about the level of success P-Square achieved during their prime years, when they were among Africa’s biggest music acts.
