December 07, (THEWILL) — Mohamed Salah has launched a scathing attack on Liverpool, claiming the club has “thrown me under the bus” following his third consecutive match starting on the bench. The Egyptian forward expressed deep disappointment after remaining an unused substitute during Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United at Elland Road.
Liverpool have endured a difficult run, winning only two of their last 10 English Premier League fixtures and currently sit eighth in the table. Salah, who recorded 57 goal involvements in all competitions last season, has been reduced to a substitute role under manager, Arne Slot, coming on at half-time during Wednesday’s 1-1 draw at Sunderland.

Salah hinted strongly at a potential departure when the January transfer window opens, referencing his upcoming involvement with Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations. He mentioned inviting his mother to the Brighton match on December 13, stating he would “enjoy that game” because he does not know what will happen next. The forward is due to join the Egypt squad on December 15.

Salah emphasised his love for the club and said his family will always support the team, but admitted feeling unwanted at Anfield.
