
February 02, (THEWILL) — The Nigerian equities market opened the week with a mixed session on Monday, as modest gains in select stocks were offset by broader declines. The market opened at ₦106.153 and closed slightly higher at ₦106.162, while the NGX All-Share Index (ASI) rose from 165,370.40 to 165,384.64.
Market breadth tilted negative, with 30 equities advancing against 44 decliners, reflecting caution among investors.

PREMPAINTS grew by 10.00 percent (₦10.00 to ₦11.00).
UNIVINSURE appreciated by 10.00 percent (₦1.20 to ₦1.32).
DAARCOMM advanced 9.93 percent (₦1.41 to ₦1.55).
RTBRISCOE gained 9.92 percent (₦7.86 to ₦8.64).
MORISON grew by 9.91 percent (₦9.99 to ₦10.98).
