Oldham left it late to snap up striker Rhys Murphy from League Two outfit Dagenham & Redbridge.
The 24-year-old has penned a two-and-a-half year contract for an undisclosed fee, subject to Football League clearance.
Murohy has scored 14 goals in 46 appearances for the Daggers since joining the club in 2013.
