SAN FRANCISCO, July 29, (THEWILL) – Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai, the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and chieftain of Nigeria’s opposition alliance, All Progressives Congress (APC), Tuesday morning lost his teenage son, Hamza, in a car crash.
In a tweet, the politician wrote “From Allah we came and to Him we shall return. Please join our family in praying for the repose of the soul of my son Hamza El-Rufai who died this morning in a motor accident in Abuja.”
THEWILL recalls that the former Minister’s daughters Yasmine (25) and Zainab died in December 2011 and April 2014 respectively.
