SAN FRANCISCO, December 02, (THEWILL) – The House of Representatives has extended its resumption for plenary to December 16, 2014, instead of this Wednesday as previously announced when the House adjourned for recess on October 28, 2014.
Clerk of the House, Mr. Mohammed Sani-Omolori, announced the new date in a press statement Tuesday, saying the postponement was necessitated by the ongoing primaries and political activities.
The statement said, “This is to notify members of the House of Representatives that the resumption of the House from recess earlier scheduled for December 3, 2014 has been postponed.
“The House will now resume on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 10am.
“The Leadership of the House of Representatives took note of the adjustment in the calendar of the political parties and took the decision for the postponement to allow members of the House participate in the forthcoming primaries of their political parties.”
