BEVERLY HILLS, August 20, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Thursday reported 476 confirmed new cases of the coronavirus to bring the tally countrywide to 50, 964 cases with 37, 569 recoveries and 7 new deaths to bring that total to 992.
According to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, posted 235 new cases, while the FCT recorded 44 cases. Kaduna posted 41, Borno 33 and Plateau 28. See below for a full breakdown.
The NCDC also said it has so far tested 366, 244 samples as at August 19, 2020.
