BEVERLY HILLS, November 24, (THEWILL) – Despite the assurances given weekend by the security forces that they would intensify efforts at curtailing Boko Haram’s ability to seize Nigerian territories, the rampaging insurgents, Monday, captured the Borno town of Damasak after chasing away 300 soldiers from the military camp in the town.

THEWILL gathered that the terrorists stormed the town Friday but were repelled after losing five fighters. Witnesses said they launched a reprisal attack on Monday morning, overrunning the town with their numerous foot soldiers.
