BEVERLY HILLS, April 25, (THEWILL) – Eighty-seven persons Saturday tested positive for the coronavirus disease in Nigeria, while three new deaths occurred from the deadly virus, according to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC.
Lagos, the epicenter of the spread in Nigeria recorded 33, Borno got 18, Osun 12, Katsina 9, Kano 4, Ekiti 4, Edo 3, Bauchi 3 and Imo 1.
The total tally for Nigeria is 1182 with 222 recoveries and 35 deaths.
The NCDC says it has tested a 10061 people for COVID-19 as at April 24, 2020. Nigeria has an estimated population of about 200m.
