BEVERLY HILLS, March 10, (THEWILL) – Two Nigerian citizens, Pius Adesanmi, a Canadian based scholar, writer, columnist and satirist and Ambassador Abiodun Bashua, a career diplomat working with the United Nations were amongst the 157 passengers from multiple countries on board Ethiopian Flight 302 that crashed just minutes after taking off from Addis Abba enroute Nairabo, Kenya on Sunday morning.
THEWILL gathered that Adesanmi, a Professor of English, is also a Canadian citizen while Bashua holds a United Nations passport.
Ethiopian Airlines released the nationalities of passengers and crew involved in the crash. They are 32 Kenyans, 18 Canadians, 8 Americans, Seven Britons, 9 Ethiopians, 7 French, 6 Egyptians, 5 Germans, 4 Indians, 4, Slovakians, 3 Austrians, 3 Swedes, 3 Russians, 2 Moroccans, 2 Spaniards, 2 Poles, 2 Israelis, one citizen each from Belgium, Mozambique, Rwanda, Sudan, Uganda, Togo, Yemen Norway, Indonesia and 4 persons with United Nations Passport.
