BEVERLY HILLS, August 19, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s confirmed coronavirus cases Wednesday hit 50, 488 cases after the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, reported 593 new cases across 16 states.
The country now has 37, 304 recoveries with 4 new deaths to bring that tally to 985.
Plateau State topped Wednesday’s cases with 186 while Lagos reported 172. The FCT posted 62, Oyo 27, Delta 25, Rivers 20, Ondo 19, Edo 18, Kaduna 17, Enugu 12, Akwa Ibom 10. Others are; Ogun 7, Abia 6, Gombe 6, Kano3 and Osun 3.
The NCDC says it has tested 363, 331 samples as at August 18, 2020.
