BEVERLY HILLS, August 24, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Monday reported 321 confirmed new cases of the coronavirus to bring the tally countrywide to 52, 548 with 39, 257 recoveries and 1004 deaths.
According to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, posted 98 new cases while the FCT recorded 34 cases. Kaduna posted 30, Nasarawa 25 and Benue 21. See below for a full breakdown.
The NCDC also said it has so far tested 379, 542 samples as at August 23, 2020.
