September 27, (THEWILL) — Crystal Palace ended Liverpool’s perfect start to the English Premier League season with a dramatic 2-1 victory at Selhurst Park, extending their own club-record unbeaten streak to 18 matches across all competitions. Eddie Nketiah scored the decisive goal in the 97th minute to complete a remarkable turnaround for the Eagles.
The hosts took an early lead through Ismaïla Sarr in the ninth minute after Ryan Gravenberch could only deflect a corner towards the Palace forward, who finished from close range.
