Novak Djokovic Tests Positive For COVID-19

SAN FRANCISCO, June 23, (THEWILL) – Tennis star, Novak Djokovic has tested positive for COVID-19, as he becomes the second victim of the virus from his tournament.

Djokovic was the face behind the Adria Tour, a series of exhibition events that started in the Serbian capital of Belgrade and then moved to Zadar, Croatia, last weekend.

He left Croatia after the final was cancelled and was tested in Belgrade, with that test returning a positive result.

Grigor Dimitrov also tested positive for the virus, while Borna Coric – who played the Bulgarian on Saturday in Zadar – later confirmed that he too has tested positive.

Another player, Viktor Troicki also tested positive for the Coronavirus.
