BEVERLY HILLS, February 25, (THEWILL) – Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, has been declared Senator-elect of Imo west senatorial zone.
Okorocha, Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was declared winner on Monday by the returning officer, Francis Ibeawuchi at the collation center in Orlu local government area of Imo state.
According to him, Okorocha garnered 97,762 to thrash his closest rival of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Jones Onyereri who got 68,117 as well as that of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, with 30, 923.
