BEVERLY HILLS, November 27, (THEWILL) – Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged the governor-elect in the Ondo state gubernatorial election held on Saturday according to the results of the election announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Akeredolu won in 14 out of the 18 Local Government Areas of the state with a total of 244,842 votes.
He was followed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede SAN, who won in 2 LGAs with 150,380 votes; while Olusola oke, of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), also won in 2 LGAs with 126,889 votes.
